Iran, Russia sign finance contract

Tehran, Dec 26, IRNA – Four Iranian banks and Eximbank of Russia sealed MoU on international financing, Central Bank of Iran (CBI) reported.

In the wake of the MoU inked by CBI and Export Insurance Agency of Russia (EXIAR), the contract was signed between Iranian banks namely Sepah Bank, Export Development Bank of Iran, Parsian Bank and Pasargad Bank and Eximbank of Russia.

The mentioned contract prepares the grounds for receiving banking facilities from Russia to implement civil and production projects.

After signing contracts with India, China, South Korea, Denmark and Austria in recent months, Russia is now the sixth country with which Iran sealed financing contract.
