Ex-IRNA chief appointed as president’s chief of staff media advisor

Tehran, Dec 25, IRNA - Chief of staff of Iran's President Mahmoud Vaezi appointed former Managing Director of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) Fereydoun Verdinejad as his media advisor.

Verdinejad, 61, also served as President-Publisher of the Iran Cultural-Press Institute where he founded in 1990s as well as Iran's ambassador to China.

He has a PhD degree in management and masterminded launching the IRNA School of Journalism.
