Deadline for Fajr Int'l Film Festival's submissions, March 1

Tehran, Dec 24, IRNA - The late deadline for foreign participants' submissions to Iran's 2018 Fajr International Film Festival is March 1, secretariat of the festival announced on Sunday.

Submissions to the 36th edition have been open since November 1 for all sections of the Festival. So far, more than 600 filmmakers from 35 different countries have applied to take part in the festival.

Established in 1982, FIFF is an annual event held by Farabi Cinema Foundation, under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in Iran.

The diverse nature of the event applies to the form and content of the films as well as to the cultural backgrounds of the filmmakers.

FIFF provides the perfect opportunity every filmmaker dreams about for the premiere of their film, in front of press, film industry leaders and film lovers.
