Tehran, Athens welcome enhanced tourism ties

Athens, Dec 23, IRNA – Iran and Greece emphasized on expanding tourism relations and facilitating the path to exchanging tourists and the relevant sectors' cooperation.

Iranian Ambassador in Athens Majid Matlabi-Shabestari and Greek Minister of Tourism Elena Kountoura on Friday exchanged ideas o expanding of tourism cooperation between the two countries.

The Iranian ambassador to Greece referred to the ancient civilizations in both countries and friendly relations between them, and emphasized the expansion of ties.

Greek minister of tourism welcomed the idea of expanding the ties and said that Iran's sites and ancient history attracts a lot of enthusiasts.
