Zarif slams US version of democracy

Tehran, Dec 21, IRNA – Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif late on Wednesday lambasted US-style democracy, saying that it stops at rhetoric of “either with us or against us”.

“Trump regime exposes contempt for democracy through its threats against those who dare resist its thuggish demands at the UN—all while Trump insults Iran crudely as “dictatorship”, Zarif wrote in a twitter message on Wednesday night.

He added, 'US version of democracy stops at rhetoric of either with us or against us”.

The US administration has threatened that it would halt its financial assistances for those countries that will vote in the UN Security Council on Thursday for a proposed resolution which is drafted against US recognition of the holy Quds as the capital of the Zionist regime of Israel.

The Holy Quds is the first direction of worship (Qebleh) for Muslims and an inseperable part of Palestine.

The US President Donald Trump is to relocated US embassy from Tel Aviv to the Holy Quds which is one of the three highly important and sacred places for Muslims.
