Iran, Jordan underline Islamic unity against Zionist occupiers

Damascus, Dec 15, IRNA – Iranian envoy to Amman Mojtaba Ferdosipour in a meeting with chairman of the Palestine Committee of the Jordanian Parliament Yahya Al-Saud stressed unity of the Islamic World in the fight against Zionist occupiers.

During the meeting both sides strongly slammed US President Donals Trump's decision to relocate US embassy from Tel-Aviv to Beit-ul Moqaddas.

They praised solidarity of the both countries' leaders with the oppressed Palestinian people.

Ferdosipour and Al-Saud also supported an independent State of Palestine and complete liberation of the Occupied Territories.

Both sides stressed the necessity of reinforcing parliamentary cooperation between Iran and Jordan.

Al-Saud is scheduled to pay a visit to Tehran to attend the Inter-Parliamentary Union troika meeting.

US president's Decemeber 6 announcement to recognize Beit-ul Moqaddas as the capital city of Israel has faced extensive criticisms all over the world even from the US allies.
