Iran, SKorea sign 7 health agreements

Beijing, Dec 15, IRNA - Iranian Health Minister Hassan Ghazizadeh Hashemi and his Korean counterpart Park Neunghoo sealed 7 MoUs in Seoul on Friday.

The first MoU is in the fields of health and medical equipment cooperation.

The second MoU was inked by assistant director-deneral for international affairs in the Korean Ministry of Health and Iranian Health Ministry's director general of international affairs.

Another MoU was also signed between Iran Health Insurance Organization and South Korea Health Insurance Review Agency (HIRA).

The next MoU concerns information system in hospitals, between Seoul National University Bundang Hospital and Iranian Health Ministry.

Hashemi is visiting Seoul on the invitation of his South Korean counterpart.

During his three-day stay in the East Asian country, he is expected to take part in a conference on promoting medical and healthcare cooperation, pay a visit to a hospital, attend a Samsung medical and healthcare products fair in Seoul as well as hold a meeting with his South Korean counterpart.
