Trump's Quds plan declared open war against Muslims in Pakistan conference

Islamabad, Dec 15, IRNA - An all parties conference in Pakistan’s Islamabad condemned US President Donald Trump’s decision to shift the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem (Beit-ul Moqaddas) and termed it an open war against the Islamic World.

The conference organized by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Sami (JUI-S) chief Maulana Samiul Haq was also attended by Ambassador of Iran in Pakistan Mehdi Honardoost and Ambassador of Palestinian Authority inPakistan Walid Abu Ali.

The declaration of the conference said that the US move could trigger a new war in the Middle East. It demanded the Muslim countries to end diplomatic relations with the US and Zionist Regime of Israel.

It said that recognizing Holy Al-Quds as the capital of Palestine by the OIC is a welcoming development; however, Muslims need to take practical steps for the liberation of Al-Quds.

'No conspiracy to change the status of the occupied Jerusalem will be allowed to succeed.'

It also urged Pakistan along with other Muslim states to use all kinds of resources to stop the genocide of Palestinians and help the oppressed Palestinians.

Maulana Sami ul Haq, chairman of the Defense Pakistan Council, said that recognition of Jerusalem as capital of Zionist regime is a dangerous move that could trigger new wave of terrorism in the region.

He asked the American nation to stop their president from taking those measures which could damage the world peace and added that the Zionist regime and the US are two main terrorists in the world.

He said that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan played a positive role by summoning the OIC conference.

Ambassador of Palestinian Authority in Pakistan Walid Abu Ali said that announcement of US President on Al-Quds is a shameful act and added that Donald Trump is not fully aware of the repercussions of his decision.

'The Zionist regime is committing extreme atrocities on innocent people of Palestine who are not ready to surrender before them. Al-Quds is the symbol of unity of Muslims world,' he said and expressed the hope that soon people of Palestine will get their freedom back.

Ambassador of Iran to Pakistan Mehdi Honardoost in his views stressed the need for forging unity among Muslim World for the liberation of Al-Quds and overcoming the problems faced by the Muslims around the globe.

Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Liaqat Baloch said Trump’s move clearly shows that the US is backing the Zionist regime for its atrocities on the innocent people of Palestine.

'We the Muslims must unite and shun our differences to bring stability in the Muslim world which is not acceptable to our enemies. Our enemies will always hatch conspiracies to divide us, but we have to remain vigilant and defeat the enemy through unity.'

The President of National Solidarity Council, Sahibzada Abu Khabar Zubair said that a conspiracy is going on to weaken the Muslims. He said that the new US move on Jerusalem amounts to terrorism.

He called upon the rulers of the Muslim World to take practical steps to stop the aggression of the US against Muslims.

Member of Parliament Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad said that Trump is committing diplomatic terrorism by announcing Al-Quds plan and that mere resolutions on the issue will not serve the purpose, as the Muslims have to take practical steps in this regards.

Lawmaker Ejaz ul Haq, in his views said silence of Muslims on Iraq has encouraged America and added, 'what we are seeing today in Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria, Libya, is only because of this.'

He said people of Pakistan should be united to send a strong message to people of Palestine.

Ajmal Khan Wazir, Senior Vice President of the Muslim League (Q), said that we had great expectations from the OIC meeting but the final declaration disappointed us.
