Iran, Poland to deepen cinema cooperation

Tehran, Dec 10, IRNA – Director general of Farabi Cinema Foundation Alireza Tabesh and deputy minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland Paul Lewandowski emphasized developing cultural activities between two countries.

“In order to introduce historic ties and cooperation between two countries, Iranian cinema is ready to produce movies with Poland,” Tabesh said.

“Fortunately, Polish people are eager to have cooperation with Iranian cinema,” he added.

Selling Iranian movies online in Poland and also buying them by Poland's national TV were among topics discussed by both sides.

Meanwhile, Lewandowski referred to helping domestic cinema industry and attracting foreign investment as Polish government’s plan.

He also expressed readiness for developing cinema cooperation and learning more about both countries’ filmmakers.
