Iran female Kung fu athlete pockets gold in Turkey

Orumiyeh, Dec 10, IRNA – Iranian female Kung Fu fighter Romina Ghodrati bagged a gold medal in International Sports and Military Studies Confederation (IFAO) World Martial Arts Games 2017 held in Turkey.

After defeating Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkey, Ghodrati in the weight category of – 50kg ranked first, Iranian sports official Masoud Ghodrati told Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

The event was held with the attendance of 168 athletes from 13 countries.

Kung fu is a Chinese term referring to any study, learning, or practice that requires patience, energy, and time to complete. In its original meaning, kung fu can refer to any discipline or skill achieved through hard work and practice, not necessarily martial arts.
