London, Dec 9, IRNA – Hundreds of Muslims diaspora residing in London protested at US President Donald Trump’s decision to relocate the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Beit-ul Moqaddas, Occupied Palestine.

The Friday night demonstration was organized by Palestine supporter groups such as Anti-War Coalition, Friends of Al Aqsa, Muslim Association of Britain and Palestine Solidarity Campaign.

Protestors flying Palestine flag, chanted “Down with Israel” slogan.

“Trump has forgotten two issues in his decision, first recognizing Beit-ul Moqaddas as Israel’s capital is against international regulations, secondly, the United Nations has reiterated that no country must relocate its mission to Beit-ul Moqaddas,” Secretary General of Palestine Solidarity Campaign Ben Jamal told Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on the sidelines of the demonstration.

“He also forgot Palestinians’ legitimate rights,” he added.

Jamal urged international community to accept the fact that the Middle East peace plan has been stopped and the Zionist Regime should be made accountable so as to establish peace and stability.

The US president's Wednesday announcement to recognize Beit-ul Moqaddas as the capital city of Israel has faced extensive criticisms all over the world even from the US allies.

Controversial US President Donald Trump's recognition of the Holy Quds as the capital of Israeli regime met fierce condemnations from around the world, as top-ranking political figures and international organizations have warned about repercussions of the decision in the region and world.
