Iran's envoy calls on Pak Chief Minister, discusses bilateral ties

Islamabad, Dec 8, IRNA - The Ambassador of Iran to Pakistan Mehdi Honardoost has met with Chief Minister of southern Sindh province Syed Murad Ali Shah and discussed bilateral ties and investment opportunities in the province.

Iranian Consul General to Karachi Ahmad Mohammadi was also present on the occasion.

The Sindh Chief Minister on the occasion said that Iran is a brother Muslim country.

He said that a hospital in Khairpur area of Sindh in collaboration with Iran is running well.

He also acknowledged the assistance of Iran for the flood-affected people of Sindh in 2010.

Mehdi Honardoost during the meeting called for expansion of bilateral ties in all fields especially in trade and economic sector.
