Hungarian tourists enthusiatic to visit Iran: Varga

Tehran, Dec 4, IRNA – Hungarian Minister of Economy Mihaly Varga said on Monday that considering cooperation opportunity in the field of tourism, there would be desire for more Hungarian tourists to visit Iran.

He made the remarks after holding talks with Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Shariatmadari.

The two sides discussed opportunity to cooperate in the sectors of petrochemicals, pharmaceutics and mine, Varga said.

He pointed to both countries interests to strengthen investment, and said the two sides had negotiations on the issue in Iran's Chamber of Commerce and agreements were signed in this concern.

Varga said that it is due an agreement concerning support for investment rights to be signed on Monday with Ministry of Economy and Finance.

He said that the two sides also discussed joint venture project to produce electrical buses.

The Hungarian minister said that it is so important for us that Ikarus Buses run in Iran again.

The Hungarian delegation is scheduled to meet with vice-president, minister of industry as well as minister of health, treatment and medical education on Monday.
