EU, Iran to develop scientific cooperation

Tehran, Nov 25, IRNA – Deputy Minister of Science for international affairs Hossein Salar-Amoli in meeting with European Union delegation said on Saturday that there are wide capacities for mutual cooperation in the fields of scientific and technology affairs.

He said that fields of modern technologies, health and medicine and climate changes are important arenas for mutual cooperation.

Salar-Amoli also expressed readiness to admit European students in Iran's top universities.

He also met with EU's Deputy Head of Research and Innovation Department Patrick Child on the sidelines of the meeting.

During the meeting, Child expressed EU's readiness to expand participation of Iranian researchers in the EU Vision 2020 Program.
