Iranian Talo fighters receive 2 bronze in 2017 Summer Universiade

Taipei, Aug 29, IRNA – Iranian athletes in Talo field snatched 2 bronze medals in 2017 Summer Universiade which is underway in Taipei, Taiwan.

Iranian fighter Amir Mohammad Rezaie with 50.9 points stood on the second place and bagged a bronze medal.

Chinese and Russian rivals ranked first and second, respectively.

Iranian female athlete Fatemeh Heidari with 38.9 points also grabbed bronze medal.

Chinese and Malaysian fighters received gold and silver medals, respectively.

Iran squad with 32 athletes in eight fields attended the 29th Summer Universiade.

Iran has so far received 18 colorful medals, including four gold, three silver and 11 bronze.

The event will wrap up on August 30.
