Counselor: Bangladesh welcomes Iranian investors

Bushehr, Aug 27, IRNA – Commercial Counselor of Bangladesh embassy in Tehran Mohammad Sabour Hussein said on Sunday that his country welcomes Iranian investors, especially those from Bushehr province.

He made the remarks in a meeting with Bushehr Chamber of Commerce economic activists and added that the embassy is ready to facilitate issuing visa for investors.

Continuation of 7 percent growth in Bangladesh economy over past several years will be good indication for optimism in investment field.

The counselor added that a noticeable part of this economic growth comes for investment of activists from different countries in the field of textile production.

He said that Bangladesh had divided country into 100 economic zones and five economic special zones which helps foreign investors a lot.

Sabour Hussein said that there is channel for transferring money from Bangladesh to Iran, so the Iranian investors should not be worried about this issue.

The counselor arrived in Bushehr on Saturday to see capacities of Bushehr province for import and export between Iran and Bangladesh.
