Thais offers survey result for 3 Iranian oilfields

Tehran, Aug 26, IRNA – Thai National Oil Company (PTTEP) explained its survey results on 3 Iranian oilfields of Belal, Changoleh and Dalperi in a joint meeting with representatives of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) on Saturday.

PTTEP, which had signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with NIOC early December of 2016 to survey on these oil fields, presented its survey results on June 2017 and today explained its surveys' results.

NIOC announced on Saturday that representatives from PTTEP in a joint meeting with Deputy Head of NIOC for development and engineering affairs Gholamreza Manouchehri, experts from this department, experts from Iranian Offshore Oil Company, Iranian Central Oil Fields Company and Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC) has explained results of their surveys on oil fields of Changoleh, Dalperi and Belal.

The PTTEP is active in different locations in the world, including Southeast Asia, Algeria and Oman, mainly in gas production and had already cooperated with Iran in the fields of drilling and exploration.

In addition to PTTEP, the NIOC had signed MoU with South Korean Gas Company to study Belal oil field, for Dalperi with Austrian OMV and for Changoleh oil field with Russian Gazprom and Norwegian DNO Companies.

Belal oil field is located in Persian Gulf while Dalperi and Changoleh oil fields are in western province of Ilam, bordering Iraq.
