Baghdad, Aug 16, IRNA – German Ambassador to Iraq Cyril Nann said on Wednesday that Berlin believes that under the current situation referendum could not be a solution and would not help to resolve any problem.

In an exclusive interview with Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), the ambassador said that a referendum plan proposed by a number of Iraqi Kurdistan political leaders scheduled for September 25 could not help to solve any problem and is not an appropriate way.

Many countries of the region and world as well as central government of Iraq had opposed proposed plan of referendum by a number of political Kurd leaders, so far.
