Iranian parliament begins discussions on President Rouhani's proposed ministers

Tehran, Aug 15, IRNA – Iranian Majlis (Parliament) started a public session on Tuesday morning to review President Rouhani government's plans and to give vote of confidence to his proposed ministers.

At the beginning of the session, President Rouhani addressed the Majlis by expounding on his new government plans.

President Rouhani's proposed ministers will defend their plans and then Majlis deputies will give their viewpoints for or against the plans.

President Rouhani was re-elected for a second term in office on May 19, for another four years, sweeping over 23 million or 57 percent of the votes.
