Islamic Revolution to continue confronting global arrogance: Iranian minister

Tehran, Aug 14, IRNA – Martyrdom of Iranian military advisor in Syria by Daesh Takfiri terrorists sent a clear message to the global arrogance that the Islamic Revolution will remain to stand against it, said an Iranian minister.

'Standing against Zionism, imperialism, and reactionism constitutes the continuous path towards safeguarding the Islamic Revolution and fighting against the world arrogance,' Reza Salehi-Amiri Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance said on Monday.

Iran's military and people in the country remain to be unanimous on their fight against reactionism, Salehi-Amiri said.

We believe our presence in the Middle East and our fight against terrorism in Iran and Syria is to defend the Islamic Revolution's cause, he added.

Mohsen Hojajji, an Iranian military advisor, was taken hostage by terrorist elements and later beheaded on camera.

The incident took place following a US strike against the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (Hashd al-Shaabi), providing Daesh with an opportunity to attack the Syrian troops deployed in the borders with Iraq where Hojajji was captivated.
