Persian Gulf Univ. among most effective in world

Bushehr, Aug 14, IRNA – The Persian Gulf (Khaleej Fars) University Public Relations Office announced on Monday that the university has been named among the 31 most effective universities in marine engineering in the world.

The university is located in Bushehr, capital of Bushehr province in the south of Iran and on the northern coast of the Persian Gulf.

The Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) announces the list of the most effective universities that include the top one percent of the universities. The ranking gets updated every two months.

In engineering, some other Iranian universities are seen in the top one percent: University of Tehran, Tarbiat Modarres University, Ferdowsi University (Mashad), Tabriz University, Shahid Beheshti University (Tehran), Shahid Bahonar University (Kerman), Isfahan University, Gilan University, Urmia University, Bu-Ali University (Hamadan), Razi University (Kermanshah), Yazd University, Imam Khomeini International University, Mohaghegh Ardebil University (Ardebil), Shahre-Kord University, and Yasooj University.
