Top commander condoles military advisor's beheading

Isfahan, Aug 13, IRNA -- Commander of Islamic Revolution Guard Corps Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari extended condolences over beheading of the Iranian military advisor Mohsen Hojajji by Daesh terrorist group in Syria.

Jafari condoled with the bereaved family of Mohsen Hojajji.

Following a US strike against the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (Hashd al-Shaabi), Daesh seized the opportunity to attack the Syrian troops deployed in the borders with Iraq in which Mohsen Hojajji, an Iranian military advisor was taken hostage by the terrorist group's elements and beheaded later on camera.

Meanwhile, Quds Force Commander Major General Qasem Soleimani in reaction to Daesh brutal act vowed to clean the region from the terrorist group's elements.

'The crime, which has happened for several times against the Sunni and Shia Muslims in the region, will only increase the awareness and unity of Muslim people against the heinous phenomenon (of terrorism),' Major General Soleimani noted.
