Iran's western province, Russia to boost economic exchanges

Kermanshah, Aug 13, IRNA - Good relations between Tehran and Moscow will promote economic exchanges between Iran's western province of Kermanshah and Russia, Kermanshah governor general said.

Asadollah Razani made the remarks Saturday night in a meeting with Russian envoy to Iran Levan Jagarian.

He expressed hope for the Russian delegation's tour to Kermanshah to bring about good results.

Razani urged both countries to reinforce economic, cultural, and tourism relations.

He referred to launching Kermanshah railways project, saying the south-north railway will reinforce Iran-Russia economic exchanges' infrastructures.

Kermanshah enjoys high capacity in oil and petrochemical industry, he added.

Jagarian heading a five-member delegation arrived in Kermanshah on Saturday for a two-day trip.
