Most Americans do not trust WH under Trump presidency: Poll

Tehran, Aug 8, IRNA – US President Donald Trump's popularity has waned and reached 'its lowest point' as he has entered the sixth month of his presidency, it is reported by CNN on Tuesday according to a poll.

Six months into his presidency, Donald Trump's overall approval rating stands at its lowest point in CNN polling, while three-quarters of Americans say they can't trust most of what they hear from the White House.

Overall, 38% say they approve of Trump's handling of the presidency, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS, with 56% saying they disapprove.

Just one other newly-elected president has held an approval rating below 50% at this point in his presidency since modern polling began: Bill Clinton, whose approval rating stood at 44% at this point in 1993, the American news network reported.

[American] Republicans say they are turning down job offers to work for a chief executive [Donald Trump] whose volatile temperament makes them nervous, the US daily Washington Post has written recently.

Also, withdrawal from the Paris Agreement is another example for Trump’s easily-changing personality which has been slammed by world leaders and has created mistrust between the Americans towards the White House.
