Zarif stresses boosting cooperation with Bosnia-Herzegovina

Tehran, Aug 6, IRNA – Iran's Foreign Minister Mohmmad Javad Zarif visiting the president of Bosnian Parliamentary Assembly, stressed promoting ties in the realms of economics, culture, fight against extremism, and speeding-up issuing visas.

'Bosnia and Herzegovina and its people have a special place among Iranians,' said Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in a meeting with President of Bosnian Parliamentary Assembly Sefat Saftich on Sunday.

'The Islamic Republic of Iran is capable of helping solve regional problems and crises as the steersman of the countries in the region,' said Sefat Saftich.

'I attended Iran's president's swearing-in ceremony according to the decision by the Presidential Council,' Saftich added.

He also welcomed promotion of ties in order to exchange tourists between the two countries and facilitation of issuing visas.
