Nation, Gov't to show unified reaction to JCPOA violation: President

Tehran, Aug 5, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani said that the Iranian nation and government will show integrated reaction to any type of violation of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

He made the remarks in his inauguration ceremony where he was sworn in as president for the second term.

'By tearing up the JCPOA, they should know that will put an end to their political life and the world will not forget this disloyalty,' the President said in a reference to US threats for abandoning their obligations enshrined in the nuclear deal,' Rouhani said.

The President added: 'US breach of its obligations in the execution of JCPOA is because of this country's authorities' addiction to illegal and inefficient policy of sanctions and threats.'

He noted that the US has proved to be untrustworthy as a partner for the world and even its old allies.

Iran will not be beginner of violation of JCPOA, but it will not stay silent towards the US breach of its obligations, the President added.

He said that the Iranian nation has proved that it will reciprocate respect, sanction and threat in a proportionate manner.

The President called for using the JCPOA experience as an exemplary model in the international relations.

Those who suppose themselves as the JCPOA losers can end their mistakes and exploit the opportunity, Rouhani said.
