Majlis speaker: Opening Tanzanian mission in Iran will promote relations

Tehran, Aug 4, IRNA – Majlis (Parliament) speaker Ali Larijani said opening Tanzania embassy in Iran will develop ties between the two countries.

Larijani made the remarks Friday in a meeting with speaker of Tanzania National Assembly Job Ndugai.

In addition to political and parliamentary relations, trade ties are likely to experience growth between Iran and Tanzania, said Larijani.

He also expressed Iran's readiness to give technical and engineering aids to Tanzania.

Meanwhile, Ndugai said promoting ties between friendship groups and exchanging experiences between parliaments will develop the level of relations.

Tanzanian speaker invited Larijani to have a trip to Tanzania and to visit the country's parliament.

Ndugai is in Tehran to attend President Hassan Rouhani's inauguration ceremony which is scheduled to be held on August 5, in Tehran.
