PJAK member arrested in western Iran

Sanandaj, Kordestan Prov, June 23, IRNA – A commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) in Kordestan said on Thursday that the Law Enforcement Forces arrested a PJAK member in the city of Baneh, western Iran.

Colonel Mostafa Soleimani said that the man had a Kalashnikov machinegun, four magazines, and two grenades when he was arrested.

Earlier on Friday, another report from the IRGC announced that the force annihilated a terrorist group in the western province of Kordestan, killing three and arresting one terrorist.

According to sepahnews, the official news website of the IRGC, the terrorist team, affiliated to the arrogance powers, was knocked down at early hours on Friday while they intended to carry out terrorist operations and cause insecurity in the country.

The group was identified and later annihilated by forces of the IRGC’s Hamzeh Seyydoshohada base in Kordestan.

A number of arms and ammo were confiscated during the operation, the reprort had said.
