Answering a question about Saudis’ claims about Tehran terror attacks, Velayati said that they dare not do such actions, but they only purport so; however, Iran doesn’t see them worthy of answering.
He added the problem with Saudi Arabia is that the people in charge of their foreign ministry are very crass. They sometimes say things that stem from their ignorance of Iran and the region.
Their medieval government spent an unreasonable amount to invite the US president. They claim they have created an alliance between Muslim countries, but only a few small countries receiving aid from them accepted their invitation, said Velayati.
He also said that they can’t keep their own words; the alliance is not yet fully established, but one can already see the deep rift between the members.
