Tehran, Aug 16, IRNA – An Iranian with dual citizenship has been arrested on spying charges, Tehran Prosecutor General Abbas Jafari Dowlatabadi said.

Talking to reporters during a press briefing on Tuesday, he said the arrested person was in contact with the British intelligence services.

He also said that in a separate case, a 290-billion-rial (around $ 8m) bail was issued for the manager of a company called Roshd which is affiliated to the Iranian Red Crescent Organization.

In both cases, the prosecutor did not reveal the names of the involved persons in the cases.
