Tehran Contemporary Art Museum signs cooperation MoU with National Gallery of Armenia

Tehran, March 12, IRNA – A memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation was signed by Tehran Contemporary Art Museum and National Gallery of Armenia.

Director General for Visual Arts Department of Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and acting head of Tehran Contemporary Art Museum Majid Molla-Norouzi and Head of National Gallery of Armenia Arman Tsaturyan signed the MoU on Saturday.
According to the agreement, the two sides would expand art cooperation and hold exhibition in different artistic fields.
The MoU was signed on the sidelines of a painting exhibition by Iranian artists in National Gallery of Armenia.
The exhibition displaying painting and illumination works of Iranian artists was inaugurated on Friday March 11 in the city of Yerevan and will last until April 12, 2016.
In a joint press conference, Molla-Norouzi, Tsaturyan and Iranian cultural attaché in Armenia Majid Meshki talked about the role of arts in cultural interaction between Iran and Armenia and their affects on establishment of peace and stability in the world. They also underlined development of cultural interaction and communication between the two sides.
