Iran's Energy Minister in Germany

Berlin, March 2, IRNA- Iran's Minister of Energy Hamid Chitchian heading a delegation arrived in Berlin on Wednesday to negotiate with German high-ranking officials.

Chitchian is supposed to visit German Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, Sigmar Gabriel.

During the three-day trip an agreement will be signed between MAPNA Group Company and Siemens Company.

The five-year contract to transfer F-class turbines technology is the first step for localization of the technology under the trade mark of SGT5-4000F.

The gas turbine package for the SGT5-4000F consisting of turbine and generator, with the designation SGT5-PAC 4000F, enables economical power generation in a bandwidth (output capacity) up to 307 MW.

Siemens gas turbine packages combine a standardized basic design with options for location and customer-specific requirements, in order to provide an ideal solution for successful projects in each case.

This approach allows low costs while at the same time providing flexibility for individual requirements.

In the sidelines of this trip, Chitchian is scheduled to give a speech in the Conference on Iran-Germany Economic Cooperation.

Iranian Energy Minister is also supposed to participate in the Joint Meeting on Finance and Monetary Affairs and the Democratic Christian Economic Council's Ceremony held in Frankfurt on Friday.

The Energy Minister is accompanied by MAPNA's C.E.O, Abbas Ali Abadi in this trip.
