Since many years ago, Shahpasand has been working on an article regarding the interactions leading to the Alzheimer disease results of which have been published in the Journal of Neuroscience Research.
On receiving 100,000-dollar research grants, he said that the US Alzheimer's Institute supports five percent of its researchers giving research grants.
He added that there is an intense competition among top universities of the U.S to achieve international grants.

Tehran, Feb 7, IRNA - Iranian post-doctorate student of Harvard Medical College and the new faculty member of Royan Institute, Kourosh Shahpasand won the research grant of the U.S Alzheimer's Institute due to his pioneering researches on the Alzheimer disease.
