Iran handicrafts markets to be set up in 7 European states

Tehran, Jan 31, IRNA – Deputy Head of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization Bahman Namvar-Motlaq announced the establishment of Iran's handicrafts markets in seven European states including France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Britain.

Talking to IRNA on the sidelines of inaugural ceremony of Eidaneh (Iran's new year festival) Exhibition, he said that Nowruz handicrafts markets will be set up in several countries.
'Nowruz markets will be one of our main activities afterwards,' he said, adding that the markets will be initially launched in five countries and then they will be developed.
'China and Russia will serve as our two main handcrafts hubs in future,' the official said, noting that France, Italy, Spain and Britain and even Denmark will be among target countries in future.
'We are awaiting removal of obstacles to have easy exchanges with the world,' Namvar-Motlaq said, noting that the government will support the private sector in the field.
Eidaneh Exhibition featuring handicrafts from Iran's different points opened on January 31 and will continue until February 3.
