Iran, Turkey banking cooperation,  normalized

Tehran, Jan 31, IRNA - Iran's Ambassador to Ankara Alireza Bigdeli said on Sunday that banking relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkey are now normalized.

Bank Melleat with three branches in Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir resumed operations, he said.
Bigdeli said that in his meeting with the governor of Turkey central bank, Erdem Basci, the Turkish official announced normalization of banking ties between the two countries.
Basci said that the prospects for cooperation are promising.
