Lebanese minister of economy heads 32-member delegation to Tehran

Beirut, Jan 31, IRNA – Minister of Economy and Trade of Lebanon Alain Hakim departed for Tehran on Saturday on the head of 32–member delegation from the public and private sectors.

He is going to attend Seventh Tehran-Beirut Joint Economic Commission and hold talks with Iranian senior officials.
Iran's Ambassador to Beirut Mohammad Fathali was at Beirut International Airport to bid farewell for Lebanese Economy Minister Hakim.
He told IRNA that the Lebanese delegation will discuss ways for expansion and strengthening economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries.
He said that the Lebanese delegation will explore capacities of Iranian economy in post-sanctions era in the context of the joint economic commission to develop economic cooperation.
Alain Hakim, who is member of Kataeb Party from March 14 Alliance, told IRNA that for increasing commercial exchanges and economic, agricultural cooperation development will hold talks in Tehran.
He recommended the Arab states to use the opportunity for going to 'Iranian great market' to help their economies benefit from trade with Iran.
'I've the honor to travel to Iran during my tenure with the largest Lebanese economic and commercial delegation to set up a cornerstone for mutual cooperation.'
Alain Hakim expressed hope that Iran-Lebanon economic and commercial relations would turn as a model for other countries.
