Nakhichevan University keen on cooperation with Iranian universities

Tehran, Jan 30, IRNA – Vice Chancellor of Nakhichevan University on Saturday voiced his country's interest to promote cooperation and interaction between the Iranian and autonomous republic of Nakhichevan universities.

In a meeting with Iran's cultural attaché to the republic, Ibrahim Kazem Billi referred to participation of Iranian researchers in scientific conferences, saying that Nakhichevan University is interested to develop cooperation with the universities of Tabriz and Orumiyeh.
He voiced the higher education center's readiness for signing agreements for institutionalizing and determining areas of academic cooperation in future.
Iran's cultural attaché to Nakhichevan, Hossein Aqazadeh appreciated Nakhichevan University's hosting of Iranian researchers participating in the International Conference 'Silk Road and Nakhichevan Cultural and Economic Relations' held recently in the republic.
Iranian participants presented articles alongside other countries' researchers indicating that there are extensive grounds for academic collaboration, he said.
Aqazadeh further noted that Shabester Islamic Azad University is ready to launch cooperation with Nakhichevan University.
