ICAO official praises safety of Iran flight space

Tehran, Jan 30, IRNA – An official from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) hailed the safety of the Iranian flight zone.

Talking to IRNA, Mohammad Samavi said that the Iranian airspace maintained 90 percent security conditions even during the sanction period.

He said that based on the standards set by the ICAO to check safety of flight zones, Iran has always enjoyed very good status in terms of the secure airspace it offers to flights.

He hailed the attempts of the Iranian engineers to overcome problems and maintain the conditions of the aircraft in best conditions possible despite sanctions.

The regional official said he saw very bright future ahead the Iranian aviation industry because it enjoys very skilled and efficient human resources.

The official visited Tehran for the two-day “Iran's Aviation Summit 2016” which opened at Azadi Grand Hotel on January 24 with the participation of Minister of Roads and Urban Development Abbas Ahmad Akhoundi and more than 160 representatives from 85 international aviation manufacturers.
