Pakistan to seize post-sanctions Iran opportunities: Minister

Islamabad, Jan 29, IRNA -- Pakistan Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan said that his country will seize all the opportunities emerging in the wake of removal of anti-Iran sanctions to promote economic and commercial ties with Tehran.

Addressing inaugural ceremony of Pakistan Expo Exhibition 2016 in Lahore, he added that his country will never lose the opportunities resulting from removal of sanctions against Iran.
Referring to the Iran-Pakistan Gas Pipeline Project, the minister added that Iran has completed the operation to construct gas pipeline up to the Pakistani border and that his country's government will complete its segment on its soil.
Dastgir Khan added that implementation of the project for gas transfer from Iran and Pakistan-China joint corridor will go ahead simultaneously.
Pakistani Oil and Natural Resources Minister Shahed Khaqan Abbasi told IRNA on Thursday that he will visit Tehran on February 6-7 on the invitation of Petroleum Minister Bijan Zangeneh.
