10-Day Dawn ceremonies to be held in 63 countries

Tehran, Jan 27, IRNA- An Official with the International Affairs of 10-Day Dawn Committee announced that 460 cultural programs will be held in 63 countries to commemorate the 37th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

Abuzar Ebrahimi Torkaman told IRNA on Wednesday that cultural and art programs as well as scientific meetings are to be held in Iranian attaché Offices in 63 countries participated by ambassadors and foreign officials.

He added that 300 foreign guests from Europe, Asia and Africa will take part in this event.

Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Revolution returned to Iran from exile on February 1, 1979 and the revolution clinched victory with the downfall of monarchy in Iran on February 11. The days between are called Ten-Day Dawn in Iran and are marked by various events to commemorate the Islamic Revolution.
