Rouhani invites Italian president to visit Iran

Rome, Jan 25, IRNA – Head of the Presidential Office Mohammad Nahavandian said on Monday that President Hassan Rouhani during his visit to Rome has invited Italian President Sergio Mattarella to visit Iran.

Referring to meeting between presidents of Iran and Italy, Nahavandian said that it was very positive beginning with a long term horizon, which was held in a hopeful atmosphere upon common interests and mutual respect.
He said that many of world countries view on Iran as a reliable country for providing security.
Nahavandian said that during meeting between President Rouhani and Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi tonight executive issues will be discussed.
President Hassan Rouhani departed Tehran for Rome on Monday morning for a 4-day visit to Italy and France.
