MP: Terrorist groups have nothing to do with Islam

Tehran, Jan 23, IRNA – Deputy Majlis Speaker Mohammad Hassan Abutorabifard said on Saturday that terrorist groups have nothing to do with Islam and that they violate principles of divine religions.

He made the remarks in a meeting with Deputy Speaker of House of Representative of Czech Republic Vojtech Filip.
Abutorabifard said that regional developments, outlook for bilateral ties in different arena and both heads of state resolve to develop and expand all-out cooperation are on the agenda of talks of Iranian parliamentary delegation with the Czech Republic officials.
He said that terrorist groups such as Daesh have nothing to do with Islam and that massacre and killing of innocent people are blatant violation of the Islamic teachings.
The MP said that fight against terrorism is the principle of Iran's foreign policy and that Tehran prevented terrorist groups from access to political power in the region and posing serious threat to the world community.
Vice-Chairman of Czech Republic parliament Filip said that the Czech Republic is willing to develop all-out ties with Tehran in different parliamentary, economic and political areas.
Referring to recent visit of Czech Minister of Industry and Trade Jan Mladek to Tehran to get acquainted with opportunities for economic cooperation between the two countries, Filip said that Tehran and Prague are on the verge of a new era for mutual cooperation and parliamentary cooperation.
He added that Czech Republic welcomes to train Iranian students in different industrial and technology fields and a means for transfer of technology.
