Sheikh Salman expresses condolence on Behzadi's demise

Tehran, Jan 23, IRNA- Chairman of the Asian Football Confederation Disciplinary Committee, Sheikh Salman Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa offered his deepest condolence on the death of Iranian member of AFC Hall of Fame, Homayoun Behzadi.

The Asian Football Confederation announced that Behzadi passed away on Thursday at the age of 73.

The top scorer of 1968 AFC Asian Cup spent his professional era in Iran's national team and Persepolis F.C.

He played his major role in winning Iran's silver medal in 1966 Asian competitions held in Thailand.

Being an effective player and a successful coach in 1975, Behzadi's name has been registered in AFC Hall of Fame.
