S. Korean president urges enhancement of ties with Iran

Beijing, Jan 15, IRNA – South Korean President Park Geun-hye said that given global developments and Tehran nuclear deal with six world powers, her country intends broaden ties with Iran indifferent fields.

She further noted that the landmark deal has created new areas of cooperation with Tehran which should optimally be used.

Noting that economic situation of many countries are not good, she said, 'Under such conditions, we should seek new realms for collaboration with Iran.'

She also said that Iran is one of the best markets in which Seoul wants to be active under any conditions.

South Korean president has called on his country's officials to make efforts for finding new opportunities in the Iranian market.

Geun-hye also underlined that Iran's nuclear deal has triggered other countries to boost their ties with Tehran and Koreans also have such an intention.
