Anti-Israeli sentiment growing across EU

Tehran, Jan 15, IRNA – Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs has warned about growing anti-Israeli sentiment across the European Union that is largely triggered by the Zionist regime's aggressions against the Palestinian people.

Israel however seeks to dub and whitewash the growing anger within the framework of anti-Semitism and has formed a department in the Foreign Ministry to counter the sentiment under such a banner.
Head of the 'Department for Combating Anti-Semitism' in the ministry, Gideon Bachar, has admitted there was a sense of growing fear and worry among Europe's Jews.
'To our regret, Jewish life is taking place more and more behind walls, armed guards, police and security cameras,' he says of the implications of such an anti-Israeli sentiment, according to Yedioth Ahronoths.
The ministry has also called on European governments to increase the level of security for Jewish communities and institutions throughout the continent, including synagogues, community centers, schools and kindergartens, the daily said.
