Iran to sell gas condensates on tankers

Tehran, Jan 5, IRNA – Director of International Affairs of National Iranian Oil Company Mohsen Qamsari said on Tuesday that negotiations are underway to sell gas condensates on tankers.

He said that there are a noticeable amount of gas condensates on tankers to be sold in the wake of lifting the sanctions.
He said that during past three years Iran used Iranian oil tankers to store gas condensates.
Qamsari said that Iranian oil tankers are under insurance coverage by domestic insurance companies and hoped that lifting the sanctions will remove the trouble for buying foreign insurance services.
Gas condensates are extra-light oil comes from gas fields not included by sanctions.
China, United Arab Emirates, South Korea and Japan are among the major customers of Iranian gas condensates.
