Two days ago, Iran successfully test-fired a long-range surface-to-surface missile dubbed 'Emad' (Pillar) as new generation of the ballistic missiles.
Designed and built by the Iranian experts, Emad is the first Iran's long-range missile that can be directed and controlled till it strikes the target.
Emad is also capable of scrutinizing the targets and destroying them completely.
The Islamic Republic has repeatedly said that its military might poses no threat to other countries, reiterating that its defense doctrine is merely based on deterrence.
