Iran has always declared explicitly that it will not compromise its national security and defense capabilities, Araqchi added.
The defense minister announced on Sunday that a long-range surface-to-surface missile dubbed 'Emad' (Pillar) as new generation of the ballistic missiles was test-fired successfully.
He said Emad has been designed and built by the Iranian experts.
Emad, he said, is the first Iranian long-range missile that can be directed and controlled till it strikes the target.
Emad is also capable of scrutinizing the targets and destroying them completely, the minister said.
'To follow our defense programs, we don't seek permission from anyone,' stressed the defense minister.
