Al Maleki: Disintegration of Iraq equals serving Zionists' interests

Tehran, August 17, IRNA – Iraqi Vice President Nuri Al Maliki said here on Monday that voices heard on need for disintegration of Iraq are serving the interests of the Zionist regime of Israel.

The former Iraqi prime minister made the comment in a meeting with Ali Akbar Velayati, the head of Expediency Council's Center for Strategic Research, adding that Iran is at the top of the anti-oppression front and in the frontline of that campaign.
Maliki said that the anti-oppression front includes such countries as Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Yemen, whose nations are well familiar with the culture of resistance and steadfastness in campaign against the global arrogance.
'The Islamic Republic of Iran resembles the camp for the pious believers and its appropriate and exalted status and achievements, too, are achieved in its unsparing campaign against the arrogant world powers,' added Maliki.
He said that the Middle East region is facing very perilous challenges today and the Shiite Muslim countries, whose nations are the followers of the Infallible Household of Prophet Muhammad (P) are today targeted by the enemies of Islam.
On Expediency Council's Center for Strategic Research, Makili said that the establishment of such centers contributes to the presentation of precise scientific reports in campaign against the nasty plots attached by the oppressors and the enemies, adding that Iraq is interested in sharing Iran's experiences in establishment of such strategic research centers.
