Italy's Fiat voices readiness to invest in Khomein

Khomein, Aug 10, IRNA - Majlis deputy from Khomein Mohammad Ebrahim Rezaee said on Monday that Italy's giant auto maker Fiat has voiced readiness to invest in Khomein.

Speaking to IRNA, he said in case a car manufacturing company is established in the city one thousand new jobs will be created.
The officials in Markazi province have conducted feasibility studies to prepare grounds for presence of foreign investors in the city, he said.

There are many privileges for foreign companies to invest in the city including its excellent geographic location, Rezaee said.

Under article 31 of the Constitution, less developed areas can offer 13-year of tax exemption to investors and also can make use of financial support to remove barriers to production, said the MP.

Nuclear deal between Iran and G5+1 has left desirable economic impacts at international level in a way that the country's development is now tangible, said the MP.

The city of Khomein with apopulation of 110,000 is located in southern part of Markazi province.
